And this is why we like to spend our weekends around Merton Abbey Mills, the delightful old water mill which now plays host to an abundance of stalls selling jewellery, clothes, furnishings and other home-made goods, all day on a Sunday. Not only this, but various music and theatre events are hosted at the mill which can be checked on the regularly updated website. If you’re looking to pimp your water cooler Merton style, why not play host to your own market around the water cooler– we’re envisaging stalls in a charming circle around the cooler, attracting people (i.e. your work mates and family) to come from far and wide to see what you’re offering. If you’re wondering what you might be able to sell, how about begin with water, from your trusty cooler of course, with fruit infusion, simply added to the glass before you pour it in. Leave it to ‘brew’ for a little while before serving, for the maximum taste sensation.
