Keeping cool on long-haul flights

office water coolers keep you hydrated whilst flying 150x150 Keeping cool on long haul flightsSummer is well and truly on the way, and many of us will be jetting off to exotic locations to get away from the UK, from the office water cooler routine, to soak up the sun somewhere where it is more-or-less guaranteed (rather than prayed for, like here at home). If you’ve got a long-haul flight booked, let us help you out with the comfort factor, and hopefully make your journey at little more pleasant:
• Keep your water intake up-being at altitude makes one much more dehydrated than you might imagine, so we recommend having a small bottle with you which can be filled up whilst on the aircraft. Trying taking a sip as often as possible, and you’ll feel much better once you land.
• Walking around/keeping your circulation going is also vital. Everything makes a difference, so try ankle rotations, knee lifts/pulling your knees to your chest, and walking up and down the aisles every half hour helps relieve stiffness and pain once you land.
• Entertainment is a must- take advantage of in-fight movies or music, buy a book or magazine before take-off, and chat to your neighbour…all excellent boredom targeting activities.
If you have any questions about our products or favourite holiday destinations, please do get in touch and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have.
