The Water Delivery Company is celebrating five years in business by expanding its operations, implementing an environmental policy and helping its local community.
The South London based firm that supplies business with water coolers and spring water has not only just opened a 6000 sq ft warehouse in Wimbledon, but has also celebrated the first year of business of their North London branch.
Initially set up in 2002, the company has evolved from one man at the helm with two vans, to twenty-five members of staff and a customer list of thousands.
“The most important thing about our company is our customers and this is core area of focus for us. We are proud to say that our recent customer survey this year virtually had a 100% success rate”, said owner, Robert Laughton.
The firm has also announced that it will be putting an environmental policy in place and becoming directly involved in community events. It recently sponsored a race at the local greyhound stadium and has stepped up plans to help its local school and bowls club.
“We are doing business at a time when the world is becoming increasingly concerned by environmental changes, and bottled water is sometimes seen as an easy target. One of our first moves was to quantify the exact footprint of our business, and then to inform customers ways in which we keep this footprint down.” , continued Rob Laughton. “We have come a long way in a short period of time and we are am very optimistic about the future growth areas such as Man and Vans and English Meat. ”
