FAQs About Our Bottled Water Coolers

At The Water Delivery Company, we provide a wide selection of water cooler and drinking water fountains for a range of environments in need of a trusted hydration solution. With years of experience in the sector, we have come across some general questions that many people ask. Well, let’s get started:

Do I Need A Plumbed Or Bottled Water Cooler?

No doubt that you have come across  the more traditional water coolers that have a blue coloured water bottle sitting on top of it. These water dispensers are referred to as bottled fed or bottled water coolers. There are also plumbed or mains fed water cooler types that are directly connected to the mains water supply.

Each water cooler type comes in numerous sizes and with different ranges of functionality. Bottled water coolers generally cost less, have incredibly easy installation and can be located anywhere. To find the ideal water cooler for your environment we suggest that you contact one of our hydration specialists.

Do I Need A Hot Tap Or Ambient Tap?

Bottled water coolers generally come in either Hot and Cold OR Ambient and Cold options. The hot option is ideal for making cups of tea and coffee as your cooler will keep the water at the perfect brewing temperature. Ambient is neither chilled or heated. So this depends on what functionality you will need for your working environment.

Should I Get A Counter Top Or Floor Standing Unit?

Free standing water coolers have been a traditional choice and are the ideal solution should you have sufficient space. For environments where space is limited, our counter top bottled water coolers are recommended.

What Sort Of Water Is In My Bottles?

Natural spring water of course! We deliver spring water in both 12 and 19 litre bottles to the UK that is drawn directly from Fonthill. What makes this water unique is that it is naturally filtered through limestone rock before it emerges from the springs.

Should I Rent Or Buy A Water Cooler?<?h2>

Each option comes with its advantages and disadvantages. In the long run purchasing bottled water cooler is a bit cheaper, but if your water dispenser packs in or needs its 6 monthly maintenance you will have to call someone in. If you rent, you will sign up for a 3 monthly rolling contract and receive 6 monthly sanitisation and maintenance as well as are covered if something were to happen to your water cooler.

We hope that this has answered some of the questions that maybe on your mind. If you need more information about or water coolers or are still unsure of what water dispenser will best suit your environment, please do not hesitate to contact The Water Delivery Company on 0330 123 3309.
