Hold water cooler Wimbledon style party

June 4th, 2010

help andy murray become a champ with water cooler wimbledonAfter our good friend Andy’s second place achievement in the Australian Open, the nation is pinning their hopes on him for a win at Wimbledon this summer. To show support for our favourite Scotsman, why not gather all your friends and family round at yours, ply them with tennis-related nibbles (such as energy bars, carrot sticks, bananas and of course various flavours of tortilla chips), hand round drinks poured straight from your fantastically convenient and useful water cooler, and get into the swing of hosting a water cooler Wimbledon style party? Dress code could include those charming white shorts, sweat bands, maybe even a scarf of two if you’re really keen to look like the pros. Let’s face it, tennis is a whole lot better when you’ve got people around you to get excited with, and our Andy really does need as much support as possible to help him defeat that pesky Federer. And naturally, any good host keeps their guests fed and watered, and what better way to do so with one of our water coolers.
If you have any questions about our products, or how we’ll be supporting Andy this summer, do get in touch and we’ll be more than happy to help.

A record-breaking week for Water Cooler Wimbledon

March 12th, 2010

bottled water sales for water cooler wmbledon are upThe watercooler world usually dries up (ho ho ho) over the winter period, as temperatures drop and people are less inclined/have less need to stay completely hydrated and refreshed in the cooler weather. But not for The Water Delivery Company, oh no. Following our record-breaking sales in the summer of 2009, we thought we’d never top the number of bottles delivered to our clients in such a short space of time, but it seems our friendly and efficient service, as well as prompt responses to faulty coolers, stuck in the minds of our customers, and they’ve continued to slurp our lovely spring water as enthusiastically as ever before. In December last year, we shifted around 300 bottles per day to water coolers in Wimbledon (and the surrounding London areas), a record for the winter months.
If you’d like to try our water cooler and water delivery service, don’t hesitate to get in touch with one of our team, who’ll be able to talk you through our service, ins and outs of the contract, and the way in which our delivery service works. One of our friendly engineers will be able to pay you a visit to install your cooler of choice, and then you’re off. It really is as simple as that. Give us a call today, and see what we can offer you.

Entrepreneurial students start water cooler business

March 5th, 2010

Thomas Whitham studentsA group of young entrepreneurs from Burnley have started up their own water cooler business, with the help of a social enterprise scheme, with the aim of providing one of the campuses of their sixth form college with coolers. The students from Thomas Whitham Sixth Form will use the money they make to contribute to the building of a well in Zimbabwe. Not do the youngsters plan to get their water coolers into the building, but also sell a variety of other products, such as key rings, badges and reusable water bottles in order to increase their eventual funds. Having been planning and hosting events to promote the scheme, the students (know collectively as H2o) have held numerous competitions around the campus, including challenging teachers to partake in a competition to drink as much water as possible within a time limit.
We at water cooler Wimbledon love hearing about charity work that our clients and other people from around the UK are involved in, and would love to hear any stories that you might have, particularly if they’re water or water cooler related! Get in touch, and you may even find your story publicised in one of our widely-celebrated blogs!
