Of the surveyed Swindon residents 100% answered that they would feel guilty about wasting water and consciously avoid wasting water in their home on the survey. This is great as the town is quickly growing while the two rivers that they get their water from, Kennet and Thames, are not.

Thames Water has offered the residents of Swindon a rare and free opportunity to have one of their water regulation approved plumbers visit their home and fit water-saving devices. Already over 1,000 residents have taken advantage of this wonderful opportunity and Thames Water has already scheduled over 10,000 for next year.
